Well, why don’t we swing into our new favorite segment, which is recruiter of the week. So let’s bring in none other than Ali Rentschler. Hey Ali! How are you guys? We’re doing well. How are you? I’m good. Thanks for having me. Absolutely. What is the sunshine? I’m in Florida? You guys, so it’s pretty nice. I’ll be honest.
And I have my water, so I heard that don’t you guys worry. I’m hydrated. Cheers everyone. Everyone has water. Hopefully you’re cheersing with us live. Grab your water. Grab your water everybody. Well, it looks beautiful there. Florida suits you, Florida girl. We love it. Thank you guys. And we are so excited to have you on our new favorite segment, the recruiter of the week with one of my favorite recruiters.
Ali’s my boss and she’s the best boss in the entire world. So we have a few questions for you. The way that it works is we are going to put two minutes on the clock and we are going to rapid fire, ask you questions, answer as quickly as possible, and we’ll get as many questions as we can. How does that sound?
Okay, ladies. I’m ready. Let’s do this. We, our time is starting in three and two and go for it Ryan. How long have you been with Hirewell? Oh, gosh, seven and a half years. Almost eight years. Time flies when you’re having fun. Time flies you’re having fun, that’s for sure. I started pretty much right out of school.
So I’ve been here for quite some time now. And what is your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? Ooh! The people, honestly,
Every week! We love it. Honestly like people, culture. Everyone’s amazing. I mean, I love everyone, but I love my team so much and they’re all great. Shoutout Jack, Allie, yeah. and Caroline, Louis.
Love you guys. So definitely my favorite part. Awesome. Well, we know that you’ve been recruiting basically since you’ve been out of school. I’m sure it’s your dream job, but if you had to have another one, what would it be? Oh gosh, that’s a hard one. Um, I don’t know. So I always wanted to be an optometrist because I had went- which is like not an exciting job at all.
Did not expect that! Yeah. So I went to the doctor with my mom once, you know, when I was little and she was like, you know, they were doing the one or two little thing and they flipped it, you know, through an eye. I was just obsessed with that for so long and then I realized I’m not sure if, biology and that whole route was the best way to go.
So here I am in recruiting, which is obviously my dream job. Dr. Rentschler everyone! I love it.
Ali, what are you most looking forward to post COVID? Ooh, post COVID, probably just, you know, seeing people whenever and traveling whenever I worry about, you know, remembering your mask. I mean, and I don’t know about you guys, but I have a favorite mask and in the past year, you know, who would have guessed you would have a favorite mask when you think you lost your mask and you’re kind of upset, kind of sad, but I’m looking forward to not having to worry about losing my favorite mask.
Same. I totally agree with you on that. I definitely have a go-to mask. But I don’t think that I’m going to miss it. I’ll tell you that much. Right! Exactly. Ali, what’s one food you can’t live without? And this is your last question, by the way. So my last question. Okay. One food, honestly, it’d probably have to be like
blueberries. Is that weird?
Not as weird as the banana flavor? No, that’s a weird one. So it’s like probably more of like certain I’d have to say probably like fruits, but maybe blueberries would probably be something that I couldn’t like live without probably. That was definitely the healthiest answer. Maybe, I think it’s because I’m in warm weather.
And so I’ve been really obsessed with like eating fruit. So specific too like, I feel like blueberries are either really good or they’re like terrible, like a hard sour blueberry. Like there’s nothing worse. So you crush that Ali. Way to go! One of our most tenured Hirewellians. Is that a thing? A Hirewellian? Write it down, make it a thing.
Thank you so much for joining us that wasn’t too hard, was it? Not at all. I love that. Can I come back next week or? You can come back every week. You’re going to host us with us. Thank you for having me. Thank you for joining us Ali! We’ll see you apparently next week. Bye.
