Well, let’s kick things over to the recruiter of the week. I am like absolutely loving this segment that we’ve created and so far we’ve had Matt Masucci on and Mark . Slocum So we want to keep things moving and grooving on that end and, continue introducing our colleagues. So without further ado, we’re going to bring in Don Effler Let’s do it. Hey, Don how are you hi. I’m good. Good. Good. Well, Hey, welcome to the Hirewell update. We are so excited to have you today. Thank you. The sun has kind of poked in through my window, so unexpected way. So I apologize about that lucky you getting that Arizona sun we’re jealous.

Well, sun where are you There’s no sun in my window Don, firstly, tell us, who are you? What team are you on here at Hirewell Cool. so yeah, I’m Don Effler. I am a lead recruiter on the technology, practice here at Hirewell I have been with Hirewell for, almost three years closer to like two and a half at this point. But, I have about eight years of recruitment experience within the Chicago area, specifically within technology.

Beautiful. Well, those are all the details we want now because we have to save the rest for our two minute rapid fire question segment. Are you ready for this Not really, but okay. Don You were born ready? You’ve got this We are going to start this clock two minutes. I’m going to start that first question of, are you ready?

Don Effler question number one, two minutes. What is your favorite thing about working at Hirewell

the The people definitely, it’s a great group of people.

Um, you know, a lot of experienced people, but, everyone’s following the same mission, everyone, really thrives off other people’s successes.

And, we get the opportunity to do a lot of different things, because we have such kind of, interesting and diverse backgrounds. So the people are definitely the number one. Totally agree. Don Totally agree. Hey, if you weren’t recruiting, what would your dream job be? My dream job probably like rockstar, but like, I’m not very good at any instruments, but, if we’re going to do dream jobs that’d be it.

I can totally see it Don If you could, I could have said an investment banker, but like, if you could be any animal, what would you be and why? Uh, Animal You got this I know. I think like, Oh, I’ve seen a lot of lizards recently and they just kind of hang out on rocks in the sun and relax. So like, that sounds pretty nice

Sign me up for that. well, Hey, with March madness coming up, who do you have for the tournament? Emily knows the answer for this, but, definitely Michigan, Emily and I are both Michigan grads go blue. Uh, you know, we’ve been to the tournament. We’ve been to the finals twice in the last 10 years. And this is by far best team number one seed.

so I got Michigan. they’re going all the way. Go blue baby. What activity are you most looking forward to post COVID and we’re close. I can feel it. Yeah, it would definitely be just dinner at a nice Chicago restaurant with friends. And what would that restaurant be Oh my God, if they’re still open, unfortunately, so many have closed down, but, Smith and sons is, one of my favorites.

Amazing. And one final question, Ryan hit him with it. Well on the topic of food, what is one food that you can’t live without Food I can’t live without Water would be the answer, but, no, I say the one food. So my favorite food of anything is not even really a food. It’s more of a flavor, but like fake banana flavor, like chunky monkey, uh, you know, how you get some like ice creams or chocolates or any kind of candy that’s got like that.

But it’s not actual bananas, which I like, but like the fake banana flavor, the banana, like, you know, banana flavor, number five or whatever it is that they entered. is like my absolute favorite thing. So I realize that’s not an exact food, but I love fake banana. Let me, let me remove the judgment from my face.

What That is the best I mean, that’s gotta be the most interesting answer we’ve ever gotten so well done on that might be for the entirety of the show We’ll have to keep track and see if anything else interesting pops up. But Don I think we’re just going to crown you as most interesting answer ever Well I’m glad We want to hear the comments I don’t know anybody else who likes fake banana flavor, but if you do, we would like to hear from you. We need to know who else enjoys it. Well, you crushed it. Don everyone give Don a round of applause You Absolutely crushed. It has been an honor to have you on. and again, if you have any questions that you’d like us to ask our employee slash recruiter of the week, please let us know in the comments and we’ll include them in our rapid fire questions next week.

but thank you so much for joining and go blue fingers crossed Go blue Thanks. Don
