Well, let’s start off with our absolute favorite segment, the recruiter of the week, which is a fun way we have been getting to know our colleagues, introducing them to all of our communities. So let’s bring in Greg. Yay! Hey Greg, how are you? Good. How are you? We’re great and so excited to have you today.
Thank you for having me. Absolutely. So Greg, really quickly just introduce yourself. Who are you? What practice do you work with at Hirewell? So I’m Greg Mummert. I’ve been with Hirewell for just over four months and I work in the IT group. So, so awesome. We are so excited to meet you in person tomorrow and just be a little, a little precursor.
We’ll ask you all the same questions in person tomorrow Greg. Just to make sure your answers are truthful. Consistency, I get it. Ryan and I are going to go around and rapid fire question everyone. Everyone! It’s our new thing. So just in case you are new to the Hirewell update. Firstly, welcome. Thank you for tuning in.
Secondly, we play a little game called rapid fire questions. We’re going to put two minutes on the clock. We are going to ask Greg as many questions as possible in those two minutes. Greg, your goal is to answer them quickly, but of course, thoughtfully. Are you ready to do this? Let’s do it. Alright. Ryan is going to ask your first question in three, in two, go! Greg,
what’s your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? Consistent with everybody else, it is the people. People are great here. Everybody really cares about each other and I think that it’s somewhat, maybe different than a lot of other firms that do what we do is they’re just everybody’s rooting for each other, which is so awesome. That’s so nice and so true.
What are you currently reading or watching? I just started WandaVIsion a couple of days ago. It’s interesting. It’s different. If you want a sidebar on that show, I’m here for it. I’ve been binged it in like 24 hours it felt like. Really? Yeah, I know the first few and it took some turns. I wasn’t expecting some things to happen.
Yeah. Well, I’m going to add that to my list. You should Em for sure. And like a kind of WandaVision-ish question, I guess. Do you have any hidden talents? And if so, what are they? I actually restored an antique vehicle. I got it running and drive it around all the time. So yeah. We’re going to need to see a picture of that.
I love it. I love it. Okay. Next question. Do you have any pets? I do. She’s like a retired hunting dog. What’s her name? It’s Tesa. That’s very. Very cute for sure. Well, if you could be any animal, what type of animal would you be? I would probably pick a dog and if I had to pick one dog, I would pick my dog because she’s got the life like Riley.
So yeah. They’ve got the life don’t they? For sure. So we know you’re out in the suburbs. What is one downtown Chicago restaurant that you miss the most? You know, I just was talking about it earlier. I think RPM Italian probably would be the place that would choose right now to go to if I can definitely choose one place.
Yeah. Well follow up question to that. What’s your favorite thing on the menu there? Probably the Carbonara- it’s outstanding. Really, really good. And that’s one of my favorite pastas is when you don’t see a lot of places, but when I see it, I almost always get it. It’s delicious. Final, final question. Alright. It’s a one thing that you were most looking forward to this summer? Not wearing masks everywhere, not talking about wearing masks or any of the other stuff related to COVID.
Yeah, and just going into the group- large groups of, if anything, concerts, parties, bars, restaurants, whatever. Just getting back to normal again. That’s really what I’m looking forward to. Okay, final follow-up question because you’ve just like led there, even though your two minutes is up. Is there one concert that you want to go to this summer?
I’d love to see Paul McCartney again. I don’t know if he’s got tour anymore. I’ve seen him four times, but if he toured again I would be right there. Well, we will keep our fingers crossed so that Paul decides he’s gonna go on a tour and stop in Chicago. Me too. Come on Paul, we’d love to have you over here across the pond. Great accent Em! That was incredible.
My hidden talent. Well Greg, thanks so much for joining us today. It was a pleasure to have you. We are so happy to learn more about you and we can’t wait to see you tomorrow. Thank you. Nice being here. See ya Greg!
