Lots of exciting things happening here at Hirewell but now let’s go over to what is by far, one of our favorite segments, the recruiter of the week. We’re going to bring in Jasmine who will be joining us. So everyone say hello to Jasmine.

Hi, Jasmine, how are you? Hi Ryan. I’m good. How are you? I’m great. Super excited to have you on the show today. I know it’s your first time on the Hirewell update. How were you feeling? I’m super excited to be here. I’ve been waiting a while for my turn. So been here about six months and I went to sign up in February and it was filled up till June, so I’m like, oh well.

But I’m excited to be here today. Good. Well, I hope it’s been worth the wait. Before we dive into things and we go through our rapid fire questions game, can you just introduce yourself briefly? Who are you and what do you do at Hirewell? Sure. So I’m Jasmine. I’m on the OnDemand recruiting team. I’m currently on an engagement at Roku and I am recruiting for the finance, accounting and core analytics team.

So I mostly work on accounting and senior financial analyst roles. I’m only going to be there for about another month and then I’ll be on to the next engagement. Awesome. Well, I know we’ve heard great things about that engagement and you’ve been crushing it! So happy to see all of that. Well, let’s dive into our game.

So if you haven’t watched any of the previous shows, you don’t know what to expect or if you’re joining us for the first time, our rapid fire questions game is where we’re going to put two minutes on the clock and I’ll ask you as many questions as possible. And then the last 30 seconds or so we’ll enter our lightning round, which is where we’ll have a ‘this or that’ kind of style question.

So you just answer super quickly from there. Are you ready to get started? Yeah let’s go. All right, let me put two minutes on the clock. We are good to go. And your first question is, what’s your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? My favorite thing about working here is definitely the people. The environment is top tier.

Everyone is so supportive, even as it’s grown and gained tons of employees this year, it’s still felt like such a close knit group. I always feel comfortable going to Jeff with any issues I’m having. The environment is just something I’ve never experienced before. So it’s definitely what my favorite thing is here.

I love it. And echo the same sentiments for sure. What motivates you to work hard? I think going back to what is my favorite thing about here, so what motivates me to work hard as definitely wanting the company to succeed. I want to do my part in doing that, because I love the environment here.

So I’m a firm believer in your workplace is what motivates you to work. If you’re in a great workplace, it’s going to be easier and you’re going to want to do the work. And I definitely feel like that’s been my experience. Oh, I love that. Well, outside of work- let’s say it’s the end of the day,

it’s 5:00 PM. What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day? I think my favorite way to unwind is just to lay in bed and watch TikTok. I am super obsessed and I can just spend hours scrolling. So that’s definitely something that kind of gets me out of the work mindset and it’s just something mindless to do.

Oh, I’m right there with you. I find myself stuck on that app often. Speaking of apps, what’s your most used app on your phone? Is it TikTok? It is TikTok.

I love it. That’s perfect. What is like one song where if it’s like a karaoke night, you’re going up. It’s your go-to. What are you going to sing? Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield, a hundred percent. Every single time. Have you seen the TikTok of the guy riding a motorcycle in New York blasting that song?

I don’t think so, but I need to.

And then what’s your favorite way to spend a day off? I think just relaxing. I feel like every day I’m always doing something outside of work. It’s just go, go, go. I’m always trying to check off something on my list. I’m really big into cleaning and staying on schedule. So I have a specific room or task that I do each day in regards to cleaning.

And so a day off is kind of like, I’m not doing anything, not cleaning, not catching up on anything. And that’s definitely a very rare occurrence for me. So I would say doing nothing is exactly what I want to do on a day off. Perfect. Same here. Final question before we go into the lightning round- if you weren’t recruiting, what would your dream job be?

Oh, that’s a hard one. I think my dream job would be a stage makeup artists on Broadway. Yeah. We have not heard that before. I love it. Do you have a favorite Broadway show? I don’t. I’ve never been to Broadway, but my favorite play is seven actors. It’s a really long title. It’s called, I believe it’s like seven actors, but like it’s a pretty good play.

It was also the first play that I worked on in undergrad doing makeup for, and that’s what made me fall in love with it. So it’s always going to have a special place in my heart. Absolutely. All right. Lightning round, you’ve got 30 seconds. Remember answering questions like that. Are you ready? Ready.

Okay. Ice cream or sorbet? Ice cream. Glass half empty or half full? Half full. Big groups or small gatherings? Small gatherings. Toilet paper, is it under or over when you put it on? Uh, under. Are you an introvert or extrovert? I’m an introvert for sure. Aliens, are they real or not? Absolutely. TV or book? Book.

Instagram or Facebook? Facebook. Are you a slow walker or a fast walker? I used to be a fast walker. Now I’m pretty slow. And last one, call or text? Depending on who it is. I would say text. Alright. I love it. Well, you crushed it Jasmine. Thank you so much for joining. It was so fun to get to know you a little bit better.

I love this segment because it’s like an opportunity for us to chat things that we don’t get to know about all of our employees, since we’re all remote. Yeah, for sure. Thanks. I can’t wait to come back. Well, we can’t wait to have you. We’ll see you soon. Bye.
