We are going to kick it over to our recruiter of the week segment, by far our favorite, as always. We have a new face joining us, not necessarily as new to Hirewell but it’s still new. Definitely new to the Hirewell update. So let’s bring in Kelly and get to know her a little bit better. Hi Kelly. Hey ladies, how we doing? Good! Welcome to the show. We are so happy to have you.

I’m happy to be here. So excited to have you. Like Ryan said, you’re new to the Hirewell update, but we know you. You’ve been at Hirewell for a little bit now. But for anybody watching, before we start, will you introduce yourself? Who are you and what do you do at Hirewell? Sure. So I’m Kelly. I just got about four months under my belt here at Hirewell

and I’m coming in as a junior recruiter and I spend most of my time sourcing and doing some of the background stuff for the tech team. And hopefully in time I will progress onto the recruiter track and within Hirewell, in general. So you’ll see me reaching out to you for IT roles or just posting about some things that I’m passionate about

like the health and wellness space is very much my jam. And we love that. And quickly, I feel like we should add this to our intros- where in the world are you living right now? Where are you? I’m based out of South Florida. Amazing. And I’m complaining about the heat here in Chicago. Imagine always a hundred degrees here.

Yes. I’m very much used to that heat. I’m in the oven too. Amazing. Well, we’re really excited to have you on the show. We’re going to play our rapid fire questions game with Kelly. If you’re joining us for the first time, here is how it goes, we will put two minutes on the clock. Kelly, you have two minutes to answer as many questions as you can, quickly

but of course thoughtfully. And just a heads, up our last 30 seconds will be our lightning round where you have to choose one or the other. You have to. There’s no cop outs. It’s this or that. We’re putting our foot down here. Are you ready to rock and roll? I’m ready. Okay, let’s do this. Ryan’s going to ask your first question.

Two minutes on the clock in 3, 2, 1, go. Kelly, what’s your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? Got to say the people, but I knew you’re going to ask me this. So if I had to add anything, I’d have to say the leadership and I feel really hopeful for my future here. And I feel like I’m in really good hands and I’m excited to grow professionally here.

Oh, great. Growth was a good addition. Who’s your hero? Okay. My dad. If I have to say someone famous, I don’t really know but- no dad is great. Why your dad? What’s that? Why your dad? That’s the best answer. He’s just the human. He’s kinda been through it and he’s positive all the time and he always finds a way to bring humor into something.

And it just reminds me that life doesn’t always have to be that serious and we should just try to be grateful for the things we have in front of us. Okay. This is the best. If your dad’s not on LinkedIn, we’re going to send this to him. Can he be on the next Hirewell update? Of course.

Yes, he can. That’s so sweet. Kelly, what are some of your hobbies and how did you get into them? So I like exercising. I’m not like a massive exerciser, but I like it because I grew up dancing. So any sort of movement is very cathartic for me. So I’m really into that. And besides that, growing up here in Florida, I love going to the beach.

And then one more thing I’d throw in there, I love watching movies and really good TV shows. Okay. Favorite movie? Oh, okay. So kind of hard to answer but I love all like the saga stuff and like just getting lost in another reality. So like your Star Wars, Harry Potter, Hobbit. That’s me.

What are you watching right now? I am all over Stranger Things like the rest of the world, I hope. I feel so left out. I need to watch that show. I haven’t started it either. I mean this season, but we’ll get on it Em. We’ll get on it. This is good motivation. Okay. Last question before the lightning round, what’s your favorite snack?

I like hot wings a lot. We need to get you and Maggie

together. Remember Maggie’s video. The hot take? Yeah. New segment!

Literally new segment where I don’t participate. I’m the moderator because I can’t do spicy but like good for you guys. We’re not going to be on it. Okay, lightning round, go Ry. Ice cream or sorbet? Ice cream. Glass half empty or half full? Full. Big groups or small gatherings? Small gatherings. Toilet paper over or under? Over. Yeah.

Good answer. Correct. Okay. That’s a good one. There’s only one right answer to that. Introvert or extrovert? Probably extrovert. Meat or veggies? Meat. Movies at home or at the theater? Theater. TV or books? TV. When you’re sleeping, is it with a fan or no fan? Fan all the way. I told you I’m in Florida. Start work late or leave work early? Leave work early.

Good one for sure. For sure. Do you like plans or surprises? Surprises. Last one, sand or snow? Sand. You crushed that. Crushed it. Way to follow instructions, way to answer everything, way to give the best answer ever on heroin history about your dad. So not, not crying over here. It’s fine. But we love having you on thank you so much for having me really glad to be here.

Hopefully again, soon. Absolutely. I’ll be back for the hot rain challenge with Maggie. Thank you for the new segment idea that will give you credit. I promise. Thanks Kelly, have a good one.
