This week we’re going to start things off with the recruiter of the week, and we have a really exciting guest who’s back in the states. She’s been working internationally for a little bit. So we’re going to bring in Marlee and let’s ask her some questions. Let’s do it. Hey Marlee, good morning! Good morning guys. Should we say Bonjour!

Where have you been Marlee? I have been living in France, so my boyfriend plays professional hockey in France. So we’ve been living two and a half hours outside Paris in a smaller town called tour. I mean,- So yeah, pretty amazing. Not going to lie. And here I am complaining about being like two hours earlier. I’m like, “Oh my God, I’m so tired I have to wake up at six”

and Marlee’s sitting there like working what, like seven, six hours ahead. What is it? Yeah actually, so it’s seven from Chicago. So it would be nine from California. Wow. So you’re seriously impressive. Well done. She’s killing it. Okay Marlee, firstly, introduce yourself. Who are you and what do you do at Hirewell? Yeah, absolutely. So I’m Marlee, and I work on the managed and on-demand recruiting team at Hirewell. Lovely, lovely. Well, are you familiar with our rapid fire questions game? I’m about to be. You’re about to be! Okay,

in case anyone is watching and is not familiar. We are going to play our rapid fire questions game with Marlee. We’re going to put two minutes on the clock. Marlee you have those two minutes to answer as many questions as possible quickly, but of course, thoughtfully. Are you ready for this? I’m ready, let’s do this. Ryan’s going to ask your first question.

I’m going to pretend like my phone’s out on the other side of the room and use my watch. Two minutes on the clock in three and two and go! Marlee, what’s your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? I would say my favorite thing aside from I feel like what everyone says, the people at Hirewell probably the work-life balance. You just have the autonomy to control your schedule and be sure you’re getting your work done efficiently, effectively and what works best for you.

So that’s what I love the most about Hirewell. Yeah and if it works best for you to be in France then great. If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? Wow. That’s a really great question. Let’s see. I would probably say shoes. Do you have a favorite kind of shoe?

I was going to say same question. Yeah. I would say sneakers are you are usually my go-to. Sneaker head on her hands y’all. Yeah, that’s me. I love it. I love it. Hey, what’s your favorite thing or new food that you’ve discovered while living in France that now is like a staple in your diet? Yeah, that’s a really good question too.

I would say in France they don’t have a ton of like crystal light or things that like you flavored waters, I would say. So they actually use more like simple syrup type things. So I know it’s not a food, but it’s become a staple. They call it a tassery but it’s like- and it’s a simple syrup. They have like a million different flavors that you can just put into your water to like kind of spice it up a little bit. Ooh! Kind of into that.

I know! Maybe you should bring some back with you. I literally, I thought she was going to say like, “oh, they don’t have crystal light or things to put in your water. So I discovered like normal water”

drink, water and France. No, actually I mean the cheapest thing really to drink is wine. So. I mean, twist my arm. Marlee, if you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be and why? Oh, wow. like real Housewives of France no? I was just going to say Real Housewives of international girlfriends hockey players. Because honestly it’s a really interesting life that we live over there.

That’s what I would say. Yeah, we’ll see if Andy can get a new Bravo series going for you. Perfect. Andy sponsor us. Sponsor us Bravo, please. All right, last question and then we’ll wrap things up here. What does your typical work from home outfit look like? You’re looking at it. A black sweat shirt and

probably black sweatpants. I think we all got the memo today. We’re all on board. So on board with the black. And if it weren’t black, I will say, it’s usually just like a matching outfit/ sweatshirt. Makes sense. Yeah. I’m all about the matching sets. All about the matches sets. Well, thank you so much for joining. Are we going to see you on next or this Friday?

Oh my gosh. You will see me this Friday. In flesh- Marlee in the flesh. Marlee’s here. Wait, that’s what your reality TV show should be called. There we go. We’ll get that going. You want to be my host? Yeah done. Co-host, I’m a package deal, I’m a package deal. Okay, perfect. Two co-hosts for sure. Well, thanks for joining us Marlee.

It was lovely to have you. We will see you in person on Friday, but have a good rest of your week.
