Well this week we have Marnie for the recruiter of the week. So let’s bring her in. Put her in the hot seat a little bit. Hi Marnie. Hi ladies. How are you? Great. How are you? Welcome to the show. Thank you. I’m happy to be here. I watched some, so I’m excited to be in the hot seat and answer some questions.

Yeah. We love when people have done their prep. Watch the show. Do want to give you like a quick congratulations also upfront of, so such a congratulatory show. But tell us about your promotion. We’re so excited for you! Thank you so much. So happy you brought that up. Yeah. So last week got promoted to a full blown recruiter.

So I came on as a junior recruiter with no background or anything in recruiting, and then was lucky enough to get promoted last week. So now I’m just fully in the weeds. Happy to do it. And yeah, it was super exciting. It’s been a great week. So thank you. We’re so happy for you. And just so for those of you who don’t know, because Marnie’s joining us actually a new face on the show, Marnie’s on our marketing team.

I feel like usually we do introductions, but we kind of just skipped right to it today. Yeah, no, I love it. On the marketing team everyone’s been great. So it’s been awesome. Good. Amazing. Well, we’re pumped to have you. Glad you did your prep and watched some shows, but for those of you, if you’re watching, joining us for the first time, we’re going to play our rapid fire questions game with Marnie.

We’ll put two minutes on the clock. Marnie, you’ll have those two minutes to answer as many questions as you can quickly, but of course thoughtfully. Those last 30 seconds, just to give you a heads up is our lightning round. Reminder for the lightning round everyone, you just, you gotta answer. It has to be one or the other. There’s no loopholes. There’s no explanations. Bam. That’s it good. Just going with my first thoughts that come to my head. You got it already. Gotta go with that instinct. Good. That gut answer. Yep. I’m ready. All right. Well, are you ready to do this? Let’s do it. All right, Ryan will ask your first question in 3, 2, 1, go. Marnie,

what’s your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? My favorite thing about Hirewell is just the support and the encouragement from everyone on my team. Everyone is just like my biggest cheerleader and just wants the best for me. And it’s been amazing so far. Oh yeah. So thank you. Just like hype all the time. There is.

Yes. What is your favorite fast food chain? Ooh. Oh my gosh. I’m like, I like fast food way too much, but I’m probably going to have to go with like McDonald. Good one. Follow up question because I’m so curious about this, but like what’s your go-to order then at McDonald’s? I’m just like a simple cheeseburger and fries gal with like a diet Coke.

I like to keep it simple. I know what I like, so/ very good. Done. Go-to order. That’s amazing. What song will always get you on the dance floor? Ooh. Oh my gosh. I was actually just at a wedding and I think any of just like old school songs, like ain’t no mountain high enough, dancing queen. Those are all great for me.

So good. So good for sure. What’s the first thing you do after you wrap up work? The first thing I do is normally go on a walk by the lake. I live right by the lake. So just like being outside, especially in the summer. Love that. So nice. I’m jealous of that. What’s the most used app on your phone?

Probably Instagram or TikTok. I just- social media takes over my life unfortunately. I love it. I would agree. I’m in a TikTok black hole right now, so I feel- it’s bad. Yeah. It’s so bad. So, so bad. We’ll talk about that offline. Share our favorite one. Yes, please. Do you have any nicknames? And if so, what are they?

Well Marnie is actually a nickname because my full name is actually Marcella. Gorgeous. But I go by Marn, Marn dog is also a weird one that’s caught on. So I’ve got a lot of nicknames. Wait, see learning so many things. I never would’ve known that Marnie wasn’t your full name. This is why we have this show.

Yeah. Okay. By the way, that was like really good. You’re already doing a wonderful job. Lightning round. Ice cream or sorbet? Ice cream. In office or remote? Remote. Food delivery or go to a restaurant? Go to a restaurant. Fly or drive? Fly. Fries or tots? Fries. Zip up, or like a pullover hoodie? Pullover.

Important question. This is so good Ryan. Foresee the future or change the past. Hmm. Probably foresee the future. This is a controversial one, but hard or soft shell tacos? Ooh, probably soft. That was the right answer. That was so good. This is amazing. Fruits or veggies? Veggies. Last one. Pancakes or waffles? Pancakes for sure.

Okay. Actually last one, last one because it’s going to be be so hard for you, Instagram or TikTok? Ooh. Probably overall Instagram, but TikTok has been really becoming a close runner up. It’s got that choke hold on us for sure. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Okay time’s up. Marnie, you are going to be like, I think our new standard if someone’s like, “Hey, should I do any prep for the show?”

I’m going to be like, watch Marnie. Your answers- like that is amazing. Like your answers were thorough but also like quick, like you got the rapid fire. That was- I’m so glad I was able to impress you guys. I’ve been practicing, so. I’m so happy. She’s a natural too. Look at her. She’s all- I live for this stuff girls. You were made for it! Well, thanks for joining us.

It was so nice to get to know you a little bit better. We hope you come back to the Hirewell episodes very soon. We’ll see you later. Yeah. Thank you both ladies. Nice to spend time with you. See you next month Marnie, bye.
