Should we bring Michelle in?

Let’s bring in Michelle. Yay. Hey, Michelle, welcome to the show. Hi. Thanks for having me. We’re so glad to have you. Thanks for joining us. It seems so nice and quiet there. Did you say you kicked your children out? Yeah. So they’re all home. Did you have to like bribe them or? And I threatened all of them. Oh threatened. Not bribery, threatened. That works too.

We support both. So whatever works. Well, we’re pumped to have you on. Before we start, can you introduce yourself? Tell the people who you are, where in the world you are, and what you do at Hirewell. Yeah. So I am Michelle Colter. I am an on-demand recruiter. I live in Kansas City, Kansas City area.

Amazing. Love it. Yeah. We’re thrilled to have you on. You already know some of the questions we’re gonna ask you today, but we are gonna play our rapid fire questions game. We’re rapid fire. Go, go, go. And then we’re gonna end our final 30 seconds-

will be the lightning round. Where you have to choose either one option or the other option, but you have no other options. It’s gotta be one of the two. Are you ready? I’m ready. Okay. She’s like, we good to go?

It’s quiet in the house. Cracking your knuckles. She’s ready. That’s right. Ryan will ask your first question in 3, 2, 1, go. Michelle, what’s your favorite thing about working at Hirewell? Unlimited PTO. Good answer. Really good answer. Okay. What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Stuffing. Ooh, that’s a good one.

What’s in your stuffing? Yeah, we need to know. Whatever Stovetop puts in the box. That’s what’s in my stuffing. Perfect. Love it.

I tried to make it on my own. But Stovetop does way better. Why reinvent the wheel? Yeah. That’s it. If nothing’s broke, don’t fix it. You know? Exactly. On the holiday trend, what is your favorite holiday throughout the year? I think my favorite holiday is Christmas, but honestly it’s the whole time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

It’s one big holiday the whole season. Yeah. It’s a good time of year. I love it. What’s your favorite fall activity? Oh. I think going to the pumpkin patch with my kids. We have one here that’s also like an apple orchard place. And they make apple cider and donuts. And so we just spend the whole day out there every year we go. It’s really fun. That’s amazing. Knock it all out at once. That’s great.

Mm-hmm. Do you have a guilty pleasure? And if so, what is it? Right now, like I do not really watch very much TV. So I would say that the love is Blind Seasons are probably a really big problem for me when they come out. Cause that’s all I wanna watch. So. A problem? That’s subjective, you know? Yeah.

That’s awesome. I feel like usually the answers around like Real Housewives. So glad we have a new reality TV show to add to the list. Spicing things up. What are your favorite pizza toppings? I think I like Supreme Pizza. And I also like Buffalo something. But I put jalapenos on everything, so. Oh wait, I’m so sorry.

What is Supreme Pizza? Oh, Supreme pizza? With all the vegetables, all the meat. Everything’s on it. Yeah, like a deluxe. Oh my god. Okay. I’ll, I’ll see myself out you guys. Emily is getting a little education during today’s question games. Yeah, I guess so. You’ve never had Supreme pizza? No, but I’m on my way to get some right now at 7:15 in the morning.

Learning something over here now, aren’t we? Okay. This is like such a hard question. What’s your favorite all time movie? Love Actually. I watch it every Christmas. That is my favorite. So good. That’s a great one.

Nothing better. Nothing better. Love it. Let’s lightning round this. Let’s do it. Let’s do it. In office or remote? Remote. Gravy or no gravy? Depends on the kind of gravy, but I’m gonna say gravy. Okay, pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie? Oh, pumpkin pie. Basketball or Football? Can I say college basketball and NFL football?

Well, we’re breaking rules, but that’s fine. That resonated with me, so I understand. It’s understandable for sure. Would you rather watch TV or a movie? Probably TV. The love is blind all the way. City or country? City. Would you rather pause time or rewind it? Oh, I think I would rather pause it.

Good answer. Guac or salsa? Guacamole. Oh, that’s it. You did it. But we do have one more question. Okay. We do. One thing you’re thankful for. That’s how we’re gonna wrap this up. It can be personal or professional. So I feel like the professional, I said unlimited PTO. Mm-hmm. So I will go personal and just say a little bit of both.

I will mix the two. I feel very thankful to have a job where I can not only work from home and have unlimited PTO, but that I get to spend time with my kids. And I’m just thankful for being able to be around, as much as they need me. Oh, we love that. Amazing. I love how like ours are all kind of the same. You know what I mean?

Yeah. It all just allows for us to be humans. We can still do a really good job at our jobs. So. Do a better job at your job when you get to do those things. I hope so. We’re better people. Happier people. Well, Michelle, you crushed it. We so appreciate your time. Hope you enjoy this time off tomorrow and Friday and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Yes, happy Thanksgiving ladies. Thanks for having me. Thanks, Michelle. We’ll see you soon. Bye. Bye.
