Well, let’s head over to our favorite segment, which has quickly kind of turned into, I think our audience’s favorite segment as well, the recruiter of the week. I am very excited about this week because actually my boss Ro is going to be on this week’s show. She is a great mentor and a great friend. So I’m really excited to have her on and to ask her a bunch of questions.

What do you Em, should we bring her in? What’s up Rosanna! Hi ladies. Welcome. Thanks for having me. I’m so excited to be with both of you this morning. Ro we are so excited to have you- I mean you’re on the show, like more than people realize because you’re always recording wonderful videos and they just,

they’re always energetic and like breathe a little bit of life into the show. So we appreciate your presence on the show already. Love it. So Ro, firstly introduce yourself. Who are you? What practice do you work with here at Hirewell? Yes. So I’m Rosanna, everyone calls me Ro. I am on the HR practice with Ryan and I have been a Hirewell, it’ll be six years next month. Wow. Time flies! It really does. Every single time somebody says their anniversary, I’m like what do we get for that year?

Yeah. Right! Two backpacks? I don’t know. I was going to say three years is a backpack. Maybe like, I don’t know, fanny packs? Let’s do some luggage. Luggage, I love that. If anybody has luggage recommendations, let me know. Anyways, I digress. We are going to go back to our favorite rapid fire questions game. If you don’t know how it works, we are going to put two minutes on the clock, Ryan and I will ask as many questions as possible to Ro. Ro, your job is to answer them quickly but of course thoughtfully, and we’ll get through as many questions as we can in those two minutes. Perfect, let’s do this! Are you guys ready? I’m so ready for this. Alright, two minutes on the clock. Ryan, will ask your first question in three, in two and go! Ro what’s your favorite thing about working here?

I mean, you know the answer.

It’s the people, but I will say secondary we just have a great culture and clients and flexibility. So everything but people by far number one.

What is the best thing that’s happened to you so far this year? Well I got engaged! Congratulations! Secondly- thank you. Em I think you can attest to this, I’m about to have my first niece or nephew next month.

My brother’s and sister in law are having a baby. I feel like that might take over the engagement, but we’ll see. I’ve never been engaged but I have my opinion there. So yeah. I feel ya! Such a good year. Ro, who is your favorite musical artist? Taylor swift. I know that sounds like a very basic answer, but I have been a Taylor fan since 2007.

So like I saw her in the beginning, I saw her when she was like on her guitar opening for people. I was going to say, is that like teardrops on my guitar days? Yes. Follow up question. Do you have a favorite Taylor swift album or song? Either one. It depends on the mood. I’ve really been feeling 1989 right now, which is more of like her pop electric type of feel

But it depends on what type of mood I’m going for. That’s awesome. Okay, next question. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? Gosh, I don’t know if I do actually. I mean, my family has a place down in Florida that I’ve been going to since I was little, so love that, but I just love going to anywhere. Europe, United States, anywhere that I can go right now, I will go.

We’re like, just let us go anywhere right now. We would enjoy that. Ro what was your first car? Oh, gosh, this is like a team question on Ryan and I’s team. It was an Oldsmobile Alero in like a light blue. Oh! I can see you in light blue. Yeah. I don’t even think they make them anymore, but Google it. I definitely will. We’ll add a Google link in the comment section below

so everyone can see it. If you were not recruiting, what would your dream job be? So I always wanted to be like a newscaster. I wanted to be a weather girl when I was little. I would have my mom film me acting like I was reporting the weather. So I think something like that would be fun. Maybe not necessarily weather but just something like correspondent.

I don’t know. I think we can add a weather segment to the Hirewell Update. We do talk about the weather every episode anyway. You don’t have to be right, you can just kind of guess what happened. I mean no offense, sorry, Chicago weather people if you’re watching, but like you’re never right. Last question. This is a good one. What’s either your favorite place to brunch or go to dinner in Chicago?

Oh, that’s good. Ryan, you were just here but I think dinner: Gibson’s Italian. Love the views, the food, the vibe. Brunch: so I’ve been a big fan briefly, it’s right by me, but lonesome rose. It’s Mexican. They have an awesome rooftop. Anything Mexican I love. So that’s a great brunch. Two awesome recommendations. I’m getting hungry.

I know. Endorse us! Send us giftcards.

Yes for endorsements- sponsor us please. Yeah, please. Yeah I mean, it’d be cool to get a Gibson’s sponsorship right here right now. I would love it. Next team outing. Oh for sure. Matt will love that one. Well, Ro thanks so much for joining us this week, it was lovely to have you. I’ve been so anxious for your segment so it was a blast. Of course.

Thanks for having me have a good day!
