My Story:
I grew up outside Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting. I started my career as a CPA at EY in Atlanta. I really enjoyed learning about technical tax law, working with clients, and helping people understand a complex topic. I was progressively promoted while in Public Accounting and built a lot of great relationships. I was recruited by Deloitte to join their talent acquisition team, due to my ability to connect with others and passion for helping people with their career.
After getting a taste for this type of work, I quickly realized that I’d be happiest diving into the search business – so I joined a large recruiting firm. I can honestly say I haven’t looked back on my decision as I’m now able to combine my experience in public accounting and technical knowledge of the finance & accounting field with my ability and passion for helping people with their careers. I learned a great deal about the basics of the industry, the rich company diversity in Chicago, and how I can truly help job seekers make great career moves.
