Hirewell partners with ItemMaster, a startup reinventing the CPG industry for the 21st century

Authors:

This January, we kicked off an exciting MRP engagement with a new partner, ItemMaster®.  Founded in 2009, ItemMaster is the most comprehensive source of brand-verified product content to satisfy every outpost of market demand.  Its cloud-based brand activation™ platform enables manufacturers to share, verify, and manage their product portfolio and custom branded content for distribution across all channels; turning shoppers into buyers.

ItemMaster creates and organizes product content for the $800B food & beverage industry and fuels today’s data driven retail marketplace — online, in-store, mobile and everywhere a company or consumer may need product information.

More than 1,000 retailers, agencies and mobile app developers access ItemMaster as a one-stop source of certified brand content through our open exchange network. A privately-held company, ItemMaster already supports Complete & Verified™ content for over 1,700 manufacturers and is on a mission to reinvent and deliver packaging for the 21st century.

Recent Growth

ItemMaster is experiencing an exciting period of growth that includes moving its headquarters from Skokie to the Loop. Since the project kickoff, Hirewell has filled 15 openings and counting! These hires were across a variety of departments including Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Accounting and Operations. Our current focus is to continue to bring in top talent to join ItemMaster’s impressive Engineering team, as well as to continue hiring for Sales Associates and Customer Success Managers for the new Brand Activation Centers opening throughout the US this year.

Working at ItemMaster

People who enjoy working in a fast paced startup environment thrive at ItemMaster. There is a culture of ownership – meaning everyone has clear accountability and a specific portfolio to deliver against with a clear understanding of how the day-to-day work connects to the growth agenda and the company mission. The company is always looking for employees to bring in fresh ideas whether that be team outings, volunteering, or any type of culture enhancing activity. ItemMaster is looking for people who “get actual joy out of creating things that didn’t exist before,” and who aren’t afraid to take ownership of a project and run with it.

ItemMaster’s perks and benefits include generous time off, a competitive healthcare package, 401k, swanky new offices and a focus on health, wellness, teambuilding and fun events.
