Episode Transcript
Hey everyone, welcome back to Recruiting Reality, the show where we pair up hot topics in the entertainment industry with some helpful recruiting tips. And this week, we are talking about Bridgerton. Now that season three is out, it’s been so fun to watch. And I knew it needed be a topic. So just a little bit background on the show, there’s, like I said, three seasons. This last season was just released. Each season kind of goes into a different relationship of the Bridgerton family. This season was Penelope and Colin. And so it’s been great. I highly recommend it, but we are going to talk about Lady Whistledown and her papers.
And there’s always some drama in there, but she also does some good things in it. Yes, she highlights some of the crazy things, but she also gives praise to some of the belles of the season, the dazzling gals, and is able to kind of lift some people up within society. So we have a really cool tie in at Hirewell that that one of our wonderful colleagues, Emily Goor, decided to deploy.
So I’ll let Liz talk a little bit more about that.
Yes. We love a good shout out Queen- wait, is it Lady Whistledown? Lady Whistledown. Clearly I still need to watch it. Shania has convinced me that I will binge. But she, you know, shouts out the superstars and we’ve started doing the same.
So we just started something courtesy of Emily Goor, who you have seen on the show before representing our go to market team called Hirewellian of the Week. Where we shout out a Hirewellian, someone on our team, and why, I mean, just why they’re amazing. And honestly, I’m sure at some point, everyone on our team will be shouted out because we have such a team of just incredible recruiters, but it’s so important on the culture side to, you know, shout out, and let that person tell a little bit about who they are and all the fun stuff.
So I know Shania will be sharing what one of these shout out templates looks like, so you can get to know someone very special on our team soon.
Yeah. Yeah. I’ll be sharing that on Thursday. So, stay tuned for that, but it’s a great way to just make people in your organization feel loved and appreciated for the things that they’re doing for the org, whether that’s in contribution to the team by hitting goals or just doing good for their team and being a big cheerleader overall.
Exactly. And if you watched our most recent episode, we’ve got a little love languages tie in here. Cause I think this definitely, I guess would fall under what words of affirmation for that person. So, always trying to use those. Yep. Always. All right. See you guys next week. Bye.
