Episode Transcript

Welcome to Recruiting Reality where we pair up hot topics in the entertainment industry with some helpful recruiting tips. Exactly. Have you ever wondered why your recruiter asks you to call them after a client interview? Because we ARE the Andy Cohens of the recruiting industry! We recap after interviews, we get all of the details. And making sure that you have your questions answered, our client gets their question answered. And we’re the advocate for you, for the whole process. Exactly. I love that.

The Andy Cohen’s of the recruiting industry. So when you think Andy Cohen, what do you think? I mean, he has made such a name for himself with his reunions, with his debriefing of “Let’s talk about this salacious season and everything that just happened, give me all the details so that I can share it with the media.” Essentially, we’re the other side of that, call me after your interview. Tell me did I describe the role as it was? You know, what did you think of the hiring manager? What did you think of the office? Are you excited? Are you not excited? So that we can pass that information along.

Yeah. We want to make sure that at the end of the day, you feel confident in whatever your decision may be, and to make sure that also it benefits us to make sure we are pitching the role right. And that we have a good understanding of what our client wants and needs. We’re in there to make sure that you have everything you need in this process.

Exactly. Exactly. And much like I think the reunions with Andy Cohen, I just think of, you know, you get out of an interview, you’re so excited to share all the details and it’s really so helpful if you call, if you can, as soon as you jump off that zoom, get out of the office because that’s when you got kind of everything in your head.

And really just allows us to be able to kind of set up the next step, whatever that might be. Yeah, exactly. Hundred percent. Well, that’s Andy Cohen. And why you need to be transparent with your recruiter during an interview process. Exactly. Thanks for tuning in, we’ll see you next week.
