Liz and Shania love awards season and enjoy watching their favorite shows rise to the top. This got them thinking about the award show equivalent in the recruiting world, and the only answer is G2. Hirewell has received excellent G2 Reviews from previous clients and candidates, demonstrating how much of a leader they are in the space.

Episode Transcript

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another week of Recruiting Reality, the show where we pair up hot topics in the entertainment industry with some helpful recruiting tips. And as you’ve seen last week, Liz and I are super involved in this award season and I have just loved seeing what movies are coming out on top, which actresses are getting the highest accolades and it’s just been so fun.

I agree. And if you have not been keeping up with the award ceremonies, we do have to share some of our favorites and some obviously fan favorites, especially because we’ve talked about one of these shows on our show. But coming out on top for TV shows have been “The Bear”. Which 10 out of 10.

Cannot wait for season three. Yes. Three? Yeah. Succession and Beef. But it got us all this award ceremony talk, got us thinking like what is the equivalence of a award ceremony or awards in the recruiting space and we realized, hello! It’s G2 reviews. Yes. Shania, what are G2 reviews? Tell the people.

Yeah. G2 reviews are real reviews from peers in the industry and typically about either a software product or a service. So obviously here at Hirewell, we’re a service and we have a G2 account. So after any of our candidates get placed, really anyone can go on there and post, but our candidates and clients are the main people who will go on there and leave us a review.

And G2 is a little bit different from Glassdoor. Glassdoor is completely anonymous and normally employees are posting on there, which we do not post any employee reviews on G2. And it’s just people we’ve worked with and so it’s very authentic reviews. So whenever you like get one and your name’s in it, it makes you feel super excited.

You’re like, “Oh my gosh, I just got an award”. Like it’s so fun. Exactly. I think it’s something that we, as recruiters individually, and we as an organization really pride ourselves on. So if you need another reason to go see how and why we really pride ourselves on what we do, go check out our G2 reviews. We’ll link it in the comments below. I have to humble brag for Shania because she just got one that is so good that she’ll be sharing later this week and I can’t wait for y’all to read it.

Thanks Liz, I appreciate it. Bye y’all.
